Dushmantha Karannagoda
Chairman
Mr. Karannagoda brings to the organization a distinguished record of over four decades of experience in the area of shipping and logistics. He has extensive sales management experience as a result of being the former Sales/General Manager of Mexican Line, Contship Container Lines, Unicorn and Delmas Line Agents in Sri Lanka. Mr. Karannagoda also has an outstanding academic record, the fields of Marketing, Business Administration, International Transportation and Project Management. He is a Fellow of the Association of Business Executives (UK), a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics UK, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Project Management USA.
Hemantha Gunaratne
Managing Director
Mr. Gunaratne worked for prominent local firms during his early accounting career. He continued his education in accounting under the CIMA Program while working for a transport company in the Middle East. Later, Mr. Gunaratne worked with American President Lines, and he was the Financial Controller for the Mexican Line and the NZ Orient Lines.
Mr.Gunaratne was also the Financial Controller for Expeditors International and Airborne Express, where he acquired valuable experience in international freight forwarding and courier services.
Ananda Ranasinghe
Director
Mr. Ranasinghe has been actively involved in the shipping industry for over four decades, having worked for several key agency houses.
He served as Operations Manager and Shipping Manager for Hapag Lloyd, NZ Orient Line, Mexican Lines, and ConsShip Container Line. Lykes Line etc. He has also handled several break bulk vessels at major ports in Sri Lanka and has global international exposure, having worked for Netlloyd in Dubai.
Manjula Marasinghe
Director/CEO
Mr. Marasinghe commenced his career in shipping at Hapag Lloyd before joining MTS in year 2000. His hands-on experience in all areas in logistics transport together with professional qualifications in this field certainly equip him and to handle overall management of the organization.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers, UK and holds Diploma in Logistics by FIATA, Switzerland. He also serves as a visiting lecturer at various institutes in Logistics studies.
